Style 360 presents? (Gasp!) Men in underwear

For those who didn’t make it to the Bryant Park tents there was STYLE360 (previously Elle call sit) which created go by announcing that it was THE alternative to Fashion Week.
From September 9-12. STYLE360 featured eight designers at the Metropolitan Pavilion in Chelsea with retail furnish Henri Bendel and corporate and supporting sponsors: Mercury Mariner. Max calculate. Nikon. Montblanc youronthelist com and more. Hachette Filipachi (HFM)–the publishers of
– was behind the execution of this event for the fourth year.
I was at Tuesday night’s show which featured the mark 2(X)IST. And for those of you who aren’t familiar with it—it’s men’s underwear (yes the female displace was quite rowdy at this show). Carmen Electra came out to act using a hula hoop (won’t go into detail but you can create by mental act) and stage dancers used cloth hanging from the ceiling to do a variety of twisty turns with their bodies (they were amazingly flexible).
The real bonus? Attendees were given gift bags with about a year’s worth of Sunsilk hair products (who doesn’t love free hair care products?). And the red carpet Henri Bendel anniversary bash that followed at the Highline Ballroom was quite ritzy as come up—maybe a little too ritzy for me.
Fashion was a hot topic in the media for the past week as newspapers and blogs covered all the designers’ latest collections and fashion-conscious individuals tried to locate the trends for the next season. The thing I learned from all these make events: If you’re tall and skinny it doesn’t be how ridiculous your furnish is because you’ll always be good in it.
