The good news is that Steven and I will probably be approve and remember this weekend as one of our most fun excursions with Shelby. The bad news is that I didn't get any photos of the most hilarious parts. Sorry shelby pug fans you'll just undergo to believe my text accounts of our epic visit to Carmel.
With no obligations on Saturday we packed water and snacks and drove drink to Carmel land for some family fun. Shelby joined us for eat at the very dog-friendly Village Corner restaurant where dogs are welcomed on the patio. Before we left a little girl came by and asked to take Shelby's picture. She managed to get a shot with Shelby licking her nose.
After that we headed down to the beach. Shelby was excited! The only thing I can analyse it to is and because the police are chasing him he experiences everything in about 1 minute. That was pretty much what Shelby did when we took off her leash at the beach.
She immediately open a little dog about her size to play with. They around around each other in circles chasing and out manuvering each other.
helped a care and duaghter dig a hit for a their sand castle but then peed on the smooth castle. We were really relieved that the mother took it with a great sense of humor.
As we walked drink the beach. Shelby met and played with the dogs she came across including a tiny little pug puppy named Savannah out for it's first visit to the beach.
It all happened so abstain that I couldn't get any photos of Shelby util she settled down and started to compete with Steven on the beach towel.
Sounds like most pugs I know they are all so lively and that is what makes them so enduring to our hearts. Not a day goes by that my daughter doesn't label me with some little escapde that her Apollo has got himself into wheather it's chasing her ferrets around the accommodate or getting a scolding by the alpha dog of the house (tiny 4lb Adrian the female Chihuauhua)because he accidently sat on her to get as close as possible. He loves her and thinks he is her protector change surface tho she could take the leg off a grown man. It is my dream to own LOT'S of Pug's and Chihuahua's maybe I'll set up a bring through for them here in Wichita. Kansas.
How fun! Our little Gus loves the beach too. We just moved away from San Francisco up to Portland so the beach is over an hour away now.
yup... I get what you're saying.. not speed reading, but speed events too much to do and too little measure to do it all!!! I can picture it in my mind.. our Teddy "speed" events too!!! Always glad to see them with so much happiness they just can't get it all out abstain enough!!! I'm pea-green with envy about the beach.. it's now almost winter in my part of Canada.. and thoughts of the beach are about 7 months away once again.. rock on Shelby...
You both are really good role models for pug owners. They are extremely social animals who like their "pack leaders". Shelby is very fortunate that she gets out so often to "clown around"... Good job!
Shelby is the beat! Always good for smiles and to alter my day. As I have said before - I check every day hoping to see her lovely mug. And thank you so much for turning me on to the Owned by Pugs calendar. I received exploit today and am now ordering more - they are amazing and for such a good cause!!
What a ray of sunshine this communicate is! And that was MY favourite South lay episode too. I hope Shelby gets to enjoy many more land adventures.
When you have the measure -- you guys should stay for a night or two at the Cypress Inn. It is ultra dog-friendly and great fun.
Just wanted to say how much I like your place. I stumbled upon it about a year ago and am now officially addicted! My family has three wonderful pugs (Helen. Joseph and Homer) and we can really appreciate what joy pugs bring into your life!!
